Amaç ve İçeriği
Dersin Amacı The main purpose of this course is to introduce the field of psychology to first-year Psychology students in general terms. The aim of this course is to provide students with general knowledge in the field of psychology.
Dersin İçeriği The course aims to provide students with information about basic psychology concepts and theories and to help them understand behavioral and mental processes. The content of this course, includes human development, thinking and language, social impact and social behavior, personality, clinical psychology, psychotherapy techniques, stress and stress management.
Dersin Meslek Eğitimini Sağlamaya Yönelik Katkısı Basic Psychology Knowledge: The course provides students with a broad knowledge of the basic concepts, theories and methods of the field of psychology. This foundational knowledge provides students with the basic framework needed to enter the psychology profession. Critical Thinking Ability: The Introduction to Psychology course offers students the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills. This skill allows students to analyze psychological phenomena, critically evaluate research findings, and solve complex problems through thought processes. Research Skills: The course introduces students to basic research methods and develops their ability to conduct simple psychological research. This ensures that students understand scientific methodology and acquire the skills to conduct research in the field of psychology. Ethical Consciousness: The Introduction to Psychology course guides students in understanding their ethical responsibilities in psychological research and practice. This provides students with the ability to act in accordance with ethical standards in the psychology profession. Communication Ability: The course develops students' skills in expressing psychological concepts clearly and effectively. This communication skill helps students communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders in the future. The Introduction to Psychology course provides students with the basic knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to enter the field of psychology. This prepares them for further psychology education or psychology-related professions.

AKTS, aynı zamanda, yükseköğretim kurumlarına, öğretim programları ve ders içeriklerinin iş yüküne bağlı olarak kolay anlaşılabilir bir yapıda tasarlanması, uygulanması, gözden geçirilmesi, iyileştirilmesi ve bu sayede yükseköğretim programlarının kalitesinin geliştirilmesine ve kalite güvencesine önemli katkı sağlayan bir sistematik yaklaşım sunmaktadır. ETIS : İstanbul Aydın University Education & Training System Cyprus Science University ECTS Information Package ECTS Information Package European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) which was introduced by the European Council in 1989, within the framework of Erasmus, now part of the Life Long Learning Programme, is a student-centered credit system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme specified in terms of learning outcomes and competences to be acquired. The implementation of ECTS has, since its introduction, has been found wide acceptance in the higher education systems across the European Countries and become a credit system and an indispensable tool supporting major aims of the Bologna Process and, thus, of European Higher Education Area as it makes teaching and learning in higher education more transparent across Europe and facilitates the recognition of all studies. The system allows for the transfer of learning experiences between different institutions, greater student mobility and more flexible routes to gain degrees. It also offers a systematic approach to curriculum design as well as quality assessment and improvement and, thus, quality assurance.
