Objectives and Contents |
Objectives of the Course Unit |
The aim of the course are to teach and to interiorise the concept of criminal law, function, characteristics, basic concepts and application of criminal law, principle of territoriality and personality, general concept of crime and elements of crime. |
Contents of the Course Unit |
The course has following sub-modules: the concept of criminal law, function, characteristics, basic concepts, historical development, sources and interpretation of criminal law, principle of territoriality and personality, general concept of crime and elements of crime, attempt, the concept and types of punishment, personalisation of punishment, postponement, conditional release, results of criminal conviction and international agreements to return criminals. |
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education |
Basic principles of the Turkish criminal justice system with basic principles of crime policy it is aimed to teach.
