Objectives of the Course Unit |
The aim of the course is to show undergraduate Business Administration students how to adopt a systematic and analytical thinking about political issues, and the design, data collection, analysis and presentation of a scientific work. |
Contents of the Course Unit |
The relationship between science and research, the concept of theory, basic approaches in the study of social sciences, research ethics, literature review, different approaches to research planning, qualitative and quantitative research methods, measurement, evaluation and presentation of results. |
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education |
A student who successfully completes this course will be able to understand the relationship between science and research, the concept of theory, basic approaches in social sciences research, research ethics, and will gain skills and competence in literature review, different approaches to research planning, qualitative and quantitative research methods, and measuring, evaluating and presenting results. |
