Geriatric nursing lesson is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to provide geriatric nursing services in every field where health services are provided by understanding the importance and role of geriatric nursing. |
| Contents of the Course Unit |
The scope of the course includes the definition and classification of old age, evaluation and physiological changes of the elderly, nutrition in the old age, pain, dementia / alzheimer, accidents and ways of protection in old age, psychosocial problems in old age, quality of life in old age and home care, elder abuse, geriatric nursing. |
