Aim
1Will have the necessary theoretical and up-to-date knowledge, skills and attitude to fulfill the roles and functions of the nursing profession,
2To meet the health care needs of a healthy / sick individual, family and society with evidence-based, change-sensitive and holistic approach, using information and care technologies in line with the nursing process,
3Take part in nursing education, management and research,
4While performing its duties, powers and responsibilities, it will consider the professional ethical principles,
5They will cooperate with the health care team and other disciplines in working life and communicate effectively.
Objectives
1To train qualified nurses who contribute to the promotion of public health by using holistic approach and critical thinking skills in the process of protecting, developing and maintaining the health of the individual, family and society, improving the disease and rehabilitation process
2As an active member of the health care team, it adheres to the laws and ethical principles related to the profession, shares new information in the national and international scientific field, adopts a researcher, leader, innovative approach, thinks critically, is effective in decision-making and can be focused on solutions, and can communicate effectively and training nurses who can make change,
3To educate effective and sufficient nurses who have the philosophy and characteristics of modern nursing in line with their education based on science, scientific proofs and use of technology, advocates for educators, researchers, managers, consultants and patient / human rights, advocates,
4To lead the quality, satisfaction-enhancing health practices, to contribute to the science of nursing, by conducting researches on health care and treatment practices,

ETIS : İstanbul Aydın University Education & Training System Cyprus Science University ECTS Information Package ECTS Information Package European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) which was introduced by the European Council in 1989, within the framework of Erasmus, now part of the Life Long Learning Programme, is a student-centered credit system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme specified in terms of learning outcomes and competences to be acquired. The implementation of ECTS has, since its introduction, has been found wide acceptance in the higher education systems across the European Countries and become a credit system and an indispensable tool supporting major aims of the Bologna Process and, thus, of European Higher Education Area as it makes teaching and learning in higher education more transparent across Europe and facilitates the recognition of all studies. The system allows for the transfer of learning experiences between different institutions, greater student mobility and more flexible routes to gain degrees. It also offers a systematic approach to curriculum design as well as quality assessment and improvement and, thus, quality assurance.
