Objectives of the Course Unit | Purpose of this course is to examine the electrotherapy modalities which are widely used in physiotherapy, electrophysiological principles, response of the tissue against electrotherapy practice, teach and practice methods mechanisms of action of low and medium frequency currents. |
Contents of the Course Unit | Derivation of flat galvanic current, iontophoresis, medical and surgical galvanism, Modified galvanic current, Electrodiagnosis, low-frequency currents, diadynamic currents, Interferential currents, electric shock, surgers, Functional electrical stimulation, Ultra Reiz and Russian currents. |
