Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit The aim of this course is examines the basic principles of electrotherapy and responses of tissues against the widely used electrotherapy modalities in the physiotherapy and teach the action mechanisms and methods of application of high-frequency currents.
Contents of the Course Unit Derivation of high frequency current, thermal principles of electrotherapy, shortwave diathermy, microwave diathermy, ultrasound, transkutaneal electrical nerve stimulation, biofeedback, magnetotherapy, high-voltage stimulation, extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT).
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education Contributes learning basic principles of electrotherapy, responses of tissues against the widely used electrotherapy modalities in the physiotherapy, the action mechanisms and methods of application of high-frequency currents.
