Objectives of the Course Unit | The aim of the course is to enable students to understand the historical development of Turkish Constitutional Law, the contents of the constitutions up to date and the Turkish legal system accordingly. |
Contents of the Course Unit | In the content of this course, Ottoman-Turkish constitutional developments, the Constitution of Turkey, fundamental rights and freedoms, political parties’ regime, the legislative, executive and judicial powers of the state, amending the constitution and issues such as new presidential system are discussed. |
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education | At the end of the lesson, the students are aimed to have the following knowledge: 1-Historical development of Turkish Constitutional Law 2-To learn the Constitutions of 1921, 1924,1961 and 1982 dated. 3-To have knowledge about the Legislative, Executive and Judicial Powers. 4- To learn the president and the presidential system with the new amendments. |
