Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit	In this course, the students will evaluate health factors, learn the basic concepts related to health, gain the information necessary for use by the individual, family and society for health, understand the importance of health protection and development and enable them to analyze thoughts and being able to apply this knowledge for health improvement.
Contents of the Course Unit	Topics such as concepts of health protection and development, individual and social models in health promotion, health protection and development initiatives, diet, exercise, stress management, holistic health strategies, examples of health promotion programs are to be covered in this course.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education	It will enable students to understand how the environmental, sociocultural, and economic factors influence health care practices. It will help students explore the strategies of health promotion and primary prevention for individuals and for healthy populations.
