| Objectives of the Course Unit | This course aims at providing knowledge to students about various medical diseases and nursing approaches used in the management of these diseases. |
| Contents of the Course Unit | This course aims to provide the student with knowledge and application skills on health promotion, prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, care and rehabilitation of diseases and education of the patient and family. The course covers nursing process, fluid-electrolyte balance, acid-base balance and imbalances, shock and nursing care, system diseases and nursing care issues and applications. |
| Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education | This course covers the theoretical knowledge encompassing the physiology of diseases, pathology, diagnosis-treatment methods, nursing care, prevention and rehabilitation necessary to enable students to adopt appropriate nursing approach for individuals with medical problems. |
