Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit To explain the concepts, methods and tools of quality improvement in the services provided by health institutions and to enable them to be used in order to achieve perfection.
Contents of the Course Unit A study of continuous quality improvement, utilization management, and risk management in health care. Also includes study of credentialing, accreditation standards, quality improvement organizations, and medical staff services. Selected management topics specific to health information departments will be covered.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education This course includes patient rights, ethics, planning and implementation of health services, motivation of employees, service recipients and Monitoring and measuring the full satisfaction of the stakeholders, considering the results and evaluating the services provided in terms of quality will ensure that the quality management approach is reflected in nursing care activities.
