Contents of the Course Unit | This course will examine the core concepts related to palliative care, including symptom management, evidenced based practice, psychological states, pharmacology, ethical issues, end of life care and interpersonal skills and pastoral care. The course encourages reflection and critical awareness on the illness experience to end of life care. |
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education | It is aimed that the palliative care course given to students positively affects students' knowledge and increases their level of knowledge. Adding palliative care course to nursing curriculum will also contribute to nursing care professionally. |
