Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit	In this course, students will be able to evaluate the factors affecting health, learn the basic concepts related to health and health promotion, gain the necessary knowledge and skills for the health of the individual, family and society, understand the importance of health protection and development, learn the nurse's responsibilities in this regard, preventive health care It is aimed to make applications.
Contents of the Course Unit	This course provides the nursing student with the opportunity to interpret health promotion concepts and theories across the lifespan. Needs assessment, goal and objective formulation, program implementation, and evaluation will be included. Theoretical models used to explain why people adopt or fail to adopt health promoting behaviors will also be addressed.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education	This course is important for students to know the importance of the concept of health promotion and to implement health promotion programs.
