Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit	Theoretical knowledge and methods of treatment and nursing care of the individual with diseases related to systems, to provide conceptual knowledge that can solve problems related to nursing in line with the nursing process.
Contents of the Course Unit	This course follows the framework using patient-centered care and clinical judgment to the adult and elderly patient experiencing acute and chronic health problems requiring medical intervention. Learning experiences introduce the student to pathophysiology, pharmacology and the nursing implications of medication administration, physical assessment skills, data analysis, as well as prevention, promotion and maintenance of health, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Cultural, legal and ethical aspects of care are reinforced throughout.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education	With the Internal Diseases Nursing course, students will be able to learn the definition, etiology, symptoms and findings, diagnosis, medical treatment and nursing care management of diseases that require medical intervention.
