Objectives of the Course Unit The aim of this course is to explain the basic features of lifelong development approach and physical, cognitive and socio emotional changes specific to each developmental period between fertilization and adolescence.
Contents of the Course Unit Basic information about the basic concepts, research methods, theoretical approaches to explain the development of behavior, and finally physical, cognitive and socio-emotional changes and features specific to each life stage are given. . Reading the current researches in the field of developmental psychology by the students and presenting them in the classroom are also included in the content of the course.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education he information learned within the scope of Developmental Psychology I course provides basic theoretical information to people who will work with children in clinics. It also provides information about childhood processes to graduates who will work in child restraints. Thanks to this information, graduates who will work with the child can make researches and identify positive or negative situations in developmental processes.
