Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit	The main goal of this course is to enable the students as prospective teachers, gain knowledge and skills about the general structure and functioning of Turkish Education System as open systems; the legal bases of Turkish educational system, 4+4+4 education system, school management and functioning; and the duties and authorites of the teachers, current trends and discussions.
Contents of the Course Unit	Open system thinking and schools as open system The aims and principles of the Turkish Education System Republican period developments Organizational Structure of the Turkish Education System (central, provincial, and overseas organization) School management and Duties and authorities of school administrators. Duties and authorities of teachers MEB, 2023 Educational vision, current trends and discussions
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education	The students, who complete this course successfully, obtaining general knowledge on the general structure and functioning of Turkish educational system, will contribute to the effectiveness of the education via effective interaction with the colleagues and the school managers through the daily functioning of the school system.
