Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit The aim of this course is to explain to students the basic concepts, rules and institutions in the field of human rights law by making use of domestic and foreign court decisions on the subject. The students who take this course are aimed to acquire basic knowledge on the historical development, conceptual dimensions, types and protection of human rights with a comparative law perspective.
Contents of the Course Unit In this course, besides the legitimacy of human rights, its theoretical, practical and historical origins and foundations; institutions on human rights in Turkey and the world and rules will be explained to the students in a comparative way.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education Gain basic knowledge on the historical development of human rights, conceptual details, types and environmental issues. In Turkey and would have learned institutions and rules relating to human rights in the world.
