Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit Fundamentals of Aircraft Structures: To provide a comprehensive understanding of the basic concepts and principles of aircraft structures. Materials and Methods: To study the materials used in aircraft construction and the methods employed in the design and manufacture of aircraft structures. Stress Analysis and Load Factors: To analyze the stresses involved in aircraft structures and understand the significance of various load factors. Aerodynamics and Structural Dynamics: To explore the relationship between aerodynamics and aircraft structural integrity. Damage Assessment and Repair Techniques: To learn about the identification of structural damage and the application of appropriate repair techniques. The implementation of ECTS has, since its introduction, has been found wide acceptance in the higher education systems across the European Countries and become a credit system and an indispensable tool supporting major aims of the Bologna Process and, thus, of European Higher Education Area as it makes teaching and learning in higher education more transparent across Europe and facilitates the recognition of all studies.
