It is aimed to provide students with information about the text functions, text types, types of textuality and linguistic text analysis, where the text has a structure and meaning integrity, a language unit larger than a sentence. |
| Contents of the Course Unit |
Text linguistics, one of the fields of applied linguistics, and its theories are covered in the course. The concept of text as a supernatural language unit, the process of creating text, the criteria, functions and types of text are explained theoretically and practically. |
