Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit Learns the sentence types in Turkish, analyses sentences. Knows the meanings of the sentences that he/she uses in both daily and professional lifes. Evaluates these sentences and the word abundancy in verbal lecture and written expression … Corrects his/her inadequacies.
Contents of the Course Unit Sentences, syntax, general features and principles of Turkey Turkish syntax; specification phrases; sentences, sentence elements, types, sentence analysis. The practice will be activated by the analysis of sentences.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education Knows the meanings of the sentences that he/she uses in both daily and professional lifes. Evaluates these sentences and the word abundancy in verbal lecture and written expression … Corrects his / her inadequacies. While he/she corrects the misusing of Turkey Turkish and clears it from “dialects”, he /she becomes a role model for using İstanbul Accent with reference to Turkey Turkish… Understands the sentence structure of Turkish. Makes according to the syntax properties of Turkish oral and written expression.

Key Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to:
1 Having enough academic information about: description of the language, functions of language, grammar and basic concepts of the science of language, Qualifications of world languages, place of Turkish language among these languages, historical periods of Turkish language, sound and sound events, word attachments, word derivation paths, phrases, sentences, sentence elements, sentence types. To have adequate academic knowledge about theories of literature, Göktürk and Uyghur literatures, Divan literature, Sufi and folk literature, the new Turkish literature, world literature.
2 To have relevant knowledge and skills about Turkish language and literature; about the transfer and application of teaching methods and techniques, which is necessary at reading listening, speaking and writing areas to primary school education II. grade level of students. To have adequate knowledge and skills, which are necessary for the teaching profession, at the areas such as classroom management, assessment and evaluation, educational psychology, use of technology and materials, teaching principles and methods, laws and regulations governing the activities of educational institutions.
3 Uses Turkish, right, well and according to the effective speech rules, in a way which would allow better communication and understanding, and in an aesthetic manner. Has enough information about Turkey s Turkish sound science, the shape of science, syntax, semantics, and uses this information. Teaching Turkish to Turkish children abroad and Turkish children in the Balkans, foreigners and Turkish origin methods and techniques knows, apply.
4 They know how students skills in oral and written methods and techniques will develop. Resources and development of the Turkish language and Turkish knows the sound properties. Understands the structure and adds the words in Turkish.

The implementation of ECTS has, since its introduction, has been found wide acceptance in the higher education systems across the European Countries and become a credit system and an indispensable tool supporting major aims of the Bologna Process and, thus, of European Higher Education Area as it makes teaching and learning in higher education more transparent across Europe and facilitates the recognition of all studies. The system allows for the transfer of learning experiences between different institutions, greater student mobility and more flexible routes to gain degrees.
