Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit The aim of this course is to provide students with general knowledge about the subjects that will be given in the aircraft type training of Boeing and Airbus aircraft in the airline companies they will work in.
Contents of the Course Unit This course includes basic aviation and flight knowledge, aviation history, aircraft systems, aircraft structure and flight safety procedures and necessary topics.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education To have knowledge of the management systems and operating principles of the airline business and national and international legislation. To have basic knowledge of basic aviation terminology, flight theory/aerodynamics and meteorology. To be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to take responsibility individually and as a team member, to be open to criticism, constructive and self-confident, to work effectively and efficiently. Understanding the importance of general appearance and personal care, to be able to provide passenger service within the framework of courtesy and etiquette. To monitor information about cabin services in civil aviation using a foreign language and to communicate with colleagues.
