Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit The aim of this course is to explain the normal walking features and analysis, to list and distinguish the changes observed in the pathological gait, to present a biomechanical perspective to physiotherapists in clinical situations, to give examples and discuss.
Contents of the Course Unit To present the integration of science and technology in the field of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics in the light of basic principles; to examine the dynamic structure of the movement from a kinetic and kinematic point of view; to explain current evaluation methods in motion analysis. The course includes the subjects of motion science, muscle / joint mechanics and evaluation methods, kinematic and kinetic analysis, motion analysis, applications and examples; the features of normal and pathological gait; mechanics and pathomechanics of Columna vertebralis; scoliosis, pelvis-hip-knee-ankle; mechanics and pathomechanics of the foot; shoulder-arm complex, elbow, wrist and mechanics and pathomechanics of the hand.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education The course contributes to explaining normal gait features and analysis, to list the changes observed in pathological gait and to develop the ability to distinguish and to offer a biomechanical perspective to the situations physiotherapists encounter in the clinic.
