Objectives of the Course Unit | The aim of this course is to enable students to apply their existing knowledge to improve the health of society and to use research methods to comprehend the effective determinants of Health and disease situations. |
Contents of the Course Unit | In this course, students will learn and apply basic concepts of epidemiology to multiple domains of public health. It provides an introduction to the principles underlying public health practice, such as identifying and utilizing appropriate data sources, screening and surveillance for infectious and non-communicable diseases, and assessment of health programs along with an introduction to prevention and control strategies for managing these different conditions. |
