Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit This course is the clinical component of NRS201 and NRS203. Clinical experience focuses on the clinical aspects of primary care. Students will participate in taking dates, performing physical examinations, developing differential diagnoses, formulating diagnoses, designing prevention and management plans, and documenting common medical conditions observed in clinical settings. Students will be exposed to various primary care procedures where learning outcomes, learning activities and assessments create a coherent learning process.
Contents of the Course Unit This course is the clinical component of NRS201 and NRS203. Clinical experience focuses on the clinical aspects of primary care. Students will participate in history taking, performing physical exams, developing differential diagnoses, formulating diagnoses, designing prevention and management plans, and documenting common medical conditions observed in clinical settings. Students will have exposure to a variety of primary care procedures in which the learning outcomes, learning activities and assessments form a cohesive learning process.
