Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit	The aim of this course is to enable students to apply their current knowledge to improve the health of the community and to use research methods to comprehend the determinants that are effective in health and disease states.
Contents of the Course Unit	In this course, students will learn and apply basic concepts of epidemiology to multiple domains of public health. It provides an introduction to the principles underlying public health practice, such as identifying and utilizing appropriate data sources, screening and surveillance for infectious and non-communicable diseases, and assessment of health programs along with an introduction to prevention and control strategies for managing these different conditions.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education	This course plays an active role in the reflection of the student's epidemiology knowledge into practice.
