Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit	To acquire language proficiency level in A2 (Elementary Level), the four basic skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) and grammatical competence with the required vocabulary to be able to understand the everyday recurring communication situations needing direct and easy information exchange on familiar topics.
Contents of the Course Unit	This course is the first course in a two-course sequence which completes the foreign language requirement and introduces elements of grammar, vocabulary, oral skills, listening comprehension, and reading in A2(Elementary Level) and this course is given in the fall semester to the departments giving education in Turkish.
