Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit	To comprehend the nature of science and scientific research, to gain researcher thoughts and behaviors.
Contents of the Course Unit	This course is planned to introduce students to scientific method, ethical issues in psychology research, observation and field research from descriptive methods. (Application)
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education	Students knows the basic concepts and principles of research methods. Understands research models and types; Can analyze scientific research according to basic paradigms; Knows quantitative, qualitative and mixed research patterns. Manages the research process ((recognizing the problem, determining the problem and sample, collecting and analyzing the data, interpreting the results); Knows the general features of the data collecting tools. Can apply the data collecting tools. Access scientific resources and related databases; Know the concepts of validity and reliability; Prepare a research and research report in accordance with research principles. Prepare an example of action (action) research proposal in education.
