Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit	They have knowledge about Turkish folk literature and the subjects stated in the content of the course, and develop the ability to love and benefit from them.
Contents of the Course Unit	To recognize the important representatives and examples of folk poetry, to determine the basic features and language features and local uses of folk poetry. Evaluating folk poetry and folk tales from an educational perspective for various levels of primary education.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education	Evaluation of anonymous and non-anonymous works of Folk Literature will contribute to the close recognition of the social structure of the people through the main sources of Turkish. This contribution will allow our students who are candidates to become Turkish teachers to go deep into the Turkish culture.
