Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit At the end of this course, the students; * Knowing the specific developmental features of adolescence * Gaining insight about individual needs specific to adolescence * Developing the capacities to prepare an appropriate education-training environment in line with these needs * Gaining general insight about the problems that can be experienced in adolescence and dealing with these problems as an educator at a basic and preventive level It is aimed to organize events for dating.
Contents of the Course Unit The content of this course covers the adolescence period, which is an extraordinary turning point in the transition to adulthood, with extraordinary rapid changes in all areas of development. In this course, besides the nature and features of the adolescence process, factors affecting the development in adolescence will be examined. The content covers physical, cognitive, psycho-social changes, family and peer relationships as well as common adolescent problems such as bullying, school failure and computer use.
