Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit The aim of this course is to provide information about the institutions and rules of Turkish Constitutional Judiciary law and the constitutional and political system. After this course, the students are aimed to have information about the historical development and duties and powers of the Constitutional Court in Turkey. It is aimed that the student will have a command of the effects and results of the decisions of the constitutional courts in both national and comparative legal orders, in the systems adopted for the control of constitutionality and in the functioning of the constitutional judiciary, in the realization of the rule of law.
Contents of the Course Unit Course content; The concept of constitution consists of constitutional movements, constitutional power, judicial control of the constitutionality of laws, elements of the state, forms of the state, separation of powers theory, systems of government, types of democracy, electoral systems, and fundamental rights and freedoms.
Contribution of the Course Intending to Provide the Professional Education Students will learn the institutions and rules of Turkish Constitutional Law. Learn about the constitutional and political system. They dominate the effects and consequences of the decisions of the Constitutional courts.
