Objectives of the Course Unit	Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to deal with some simple daily situations in German such as -greeting somebody and exchanging basic personal information; -talking about family, profession, nationality and language.
Contents of the Course Unit	Greetings & farewell Requests Addressing people: Sie versus du Names What’s your name? The verb heißen Who are you? The verb sein Origins, Countries Numbers 1-100 How are you? Wie geht’s? Where do you come from? The verb kommen Alphabet Family Descriptions Commenting Grammatical gender: Nouns and pronounsProviding students with basic tools to working in the tourism work enviroment
