Objectives of the Course Unit |
The main objective of the course is to give the students clear and logical information on the basic concepts of electricity and magnetism topics (Electrostatics, electrical charge (Coulomb's Law)), electrostatic forces and fields, potential difference, parallel metal sheets, electric current, Resistance and Ohm's Law, current and resistance, impedance, power, Direct current circuits, solution of circuit problems, Ammeter and voltmeter, capacitors, dielectric concept, capacitors concept, dielectric concept, magnetism and current's magnetic field, Biot-Savart Law, Ampere's law, magnetic field, magnetic forces and torque, Magnetic flux and Faraday's law, Magnetic properties of substances, alternating current and transformers |
