Objectives and Contents
Objectives of the Course Unit 1. Aviation English I is designed to ensure aviation personel communication; 2. The language used employs a very specific set of vocabulary, expressions and functions; 3. Operational efficiency, rather than linguistic correctness, is the ultimate criterion by which proficiency is assessed; 4. Communication is predominantly oral and most often with no visual contact in aviation; 5. The question of communication may not only impact the safety of the travelling public and individual also it impacts the interpersonel and work area.
Contents of the Course Unit This course offers intermediate levels include wide range of grammatical structures and vocabulary of Aviation English in order to built onto the foundation established at the Preparatory School. This course aims to bring the students to a level that will enable them fulfill the requirements of main courses of their departments. Students will be encouraged to read a variety of texts as well as chapters from textbooks so that they can pursue their undergraduate studies at the university without major difficulty. CAM103 is designed for students to learn aviation terms, know and recognize specific patterns used in aviation.

The implementation of ECTS has, since its introduction, has been found wide acceptance in the higher education systems across the European Countries and become a credit system and an indispensable tool supporting major aims of the Bologna Process and, thus, of European Higher Education Area as it makes teaching and learning in higher education more transparent across Europe and facilitates the recognition of all studies.
